new university needs a mascot

the university of carpinteria, right on the beach of southern california needs a mascot for its sporting teams. there are like rams and moutain lions and shit like that around here, but all those mascots are lame and played out. whats a good idea for a mascot?

savages is in the lead, but that isnt saying much. and the problem with aquatic animals is that they arent good mascots for land sports. and the majority of sport is of the land variety.
